The Many Health Benefits of Zinc
Number 1 on my list is that it helps complications of diabetes, in addition to promoting the health of the immune system. And although I understand it helps stop one from losing hair, I haven't really noticed anything in that area. But if you are bothered by foggy brain syndrome, it is supposed to help that, as well as (are you listening, guys?) impotence.
There are many foods abundant with zinc, so start incorporating these into your daily regimen: wheat germ, tahini, roast beef, pumpkin seeds, cocoa, lamb, almonds,
cashews, peanuts, cheese (the real stuff, not the "cheese products or cheese food" that is being foisted upon the general public), the dark meat of chicken and turkey, bananas, avocado, cucumber, fish, eggs, strawberries, pork, pecans, peas, onions, peaches, olives, milk, liver, lettuce, kiwi, spinach (the raw stuff), shellfish, yogurt, walnuts, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes.
There are other foods high in zinc, but that should get you started on the right track.

Your Top 10 Energy Drainers—Get Rid of Them!
The idea for this article came from Cheryl Richardson's new book, "Creating Abundance in Your Life," which I highly recommend. Haven't read it yet, just heard her talk on some program.
This part hit home with me, because it was easy for me to identify these things in my life. See if they don't push a button or two with you.
Most of my energy drainers are things that have been left undone. In other words, they are things which I've procrastinated taking care of.
And this might surprise you—these are little things, not big ones.
But they are there, lurking in corners and closets, on tables, counters, desks, etc.
They are the boxes of family photographs that you've been meaning (for ten years) to organize and put into albums.
They are letters you've been meaning to answer, but you haven't done so, because you're unsure exactly how you wish to respond to them.
They are piles of notes you've made, to put new info into your address books, websites you'd like to check out when you get some spare time, product registration cards you mean to fill out and send in, passwords and user ID numbers you need to organize.
They are baskets of tapes, CDs, and DVDs you need to find or buy a suitable covered container for, but when you are out shopping you forget all about them.
There is that plastic bag full of clothing waiting to be passed on to certain relatives or to go to Goodwill or Salvation Army. It has been growing for months.
There are some framed pictures sitting against the wall that need to be hung . . . been collecting dust for months now.
There is a pile of surveys and charitable contribution solicitations that you mean to fill out and give to when you get some time.
There is a pile of loose papers that need to be sorted through and put into new file folders.
There is a lot of touch-up painting that needs to be done in various places around the house, various other little odd jobs, etc.
There is a big pile of ironing and mending that needs to be addressed, and it is ballooning daily.
There are things that you need to order, things that you need to pick up while shopping, etc.
And what about that junk drawer that needs to be gone through? You can probably eliminate at least fifty percent of it in ten minutes.
None of these things is a big deal in and of itself. But any one of them could be the straw that . . .
While I was out yesterday, I bought, for less than $5, a little plastic drawer that fits on the bottom shelf of the fridge that allows me to pull things from the back of the shelf with no problem. The day before that I went through all my pending surveys and charitable solicitations and took care of those. Then I organized all my loose notes, preparing to record all information in the appropriate places.
All of these little things take a little time, but if you will break that time into little chunks here and there, they'll eventually get done.
And you'll be surprised at how much better you'll feel, plus you'll be getting super organized in the process . . . not a bad deal for 10-30 minutes a day. Translation: Lots of new enthusiasm and energy!

Today we learn the difference between "faze" and "phase."
"Faze" is a verb that means to disconcert, to worry, or to daunt, as in "Nothing ever fazes her."
"Phase" is a noun that means stage of development that one goes through, as in "He's only going through a "phase."

Increase your Page Rank by Using EBay

Did you know that you can increase your Google page rank by
using EBay? You can do this by actually buying a link off
a website. You can purchase website links from the popular
auction website of Ebay.com (www.ebay.com). Essentially,
you are buying your way to a higher Google page rank.
How do you purchase a website link at EBay? First, go to
http://www.ebay.com. Next, type in the words "Page rank" in the
search bar in EBay. Hit search. EBay will provide
information that contains the words "page rank."
What page rank should you buy? Only buy page ranks of 5,
6, or 7. How much should you pay for each page rank? How
can you determine the value of each page rank? Multiply
the page rank times ten. For example, you would be willing
to pay $50 +/-10 for a page rank of 5. The +/-$10 allows
you to have flexibility. It gives you a range that you are
willing to pay. This payment amount is how much you are
willing to pay per month.
Why not buy page ranks of 8, 9, or 10? Purchasing page
ranks this high is like buying a multimillion dollar home.
It is difficult to figure out how much to pay for these
links. There are many fewer websites that have page ranks
of 8, 9, or 10. Therefore, it is hard to ascertain their
true value. In other words, one page ranked at 9 may be a
five-million-dollar house, while another page ranked at 9
might be worth a one-hundred-million-dollar house.
However, you won't know which "house" you picked.
Only buy page ranks that have the "Buy Now" option. Do not
deal with bidding. You don't want to waste time in
negotiations with the seller. The "Buy Now" feature allows
you to instantly purchase the link and not worry about a
changing price.
Examine the page rank deals on EBay. Look for a page rank
deal that has a page rank that is 5, 6, or 7 and fits in
your price range. Take your time and explore the various
page rank deals. You may find deals that are undervalued.
For example, you may find a "Buy Now" deal with a page rank
of 7 for just $20. This would be a great deal, because it
costs much less than what you are willing to pay for a page
rank of 7. Take advantage of these deals.
Now it's time to purchase the link with the high page rank
on EBay. Make sure that you purchase only from sellers
who have positive feedback. Do not purchase from sellers
who have negative feedback, no matter how great the deal
may be.
Find out where your web site link will be placed on their
website. You want to purchase text links. Examine how
they will deal with your web site. What type of what
web site is it? What are the terms of the deal?
Don't forget to look at their maximum number of ads.
Remember, each ad on their web site has a link pointing to
another web site. You want to make sure that their maximum
number of ads is fewer than twenty. Otherwise, they are just
creating links for anyone who will pay. This will lower
the page rank of their web site.
It is important to note that, when you buy a page rank link
from EBay, they most often will not tell you the actual name
of the web site where your link will be placed. The seller
will also specify the maximum length of your ads.

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam.
He called his parents from San Francisco.
"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've got a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring with me."
"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."
"There's something you should know the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mined and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."
"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."
"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."
"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own."
At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him.
A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son had only one arm and one leg.
The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are.
Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.
Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!!!
