TRIGLYCERIDES AND CHOLESTEROL
The following is a testimonial from an individual stating what results HE has experienced. No medical claims are implied, and we are not saying that the products discussed will cure the problems you have.
(The foregoing statement is required by the US Government, which should not be a substitute for your ability and right to think for yourself and make your own decisions!)
On February 27, 2000, my wife and I decided to enter Healing America's "Win Your Share" contest and began documenting our use of the Baseline of Health products. Two events, however, happened within a month after starting the challenge which changed my focus and reason for accepting the challenge.
First, I had a physical which showed that I had high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Second, I found that I was going to be offered early retirement.
These two events made me take the challenge more seriously. My sponsor had been recommending for some time that I include the colon and liver detox programs as part of my program. Now seemed like a good time to take her advice. In addition, my wife and I started an exercise program and began to watch our diet more carefully, as recommended in "Lessons from the Miracle Doctors."
These changes, along with use of the Multiplex II, Colloidal Minerals, MegaZymes, eRadicator, Immunity Plus, and flax seed, have produced dramatic changes in my health.
My cholesterol went from 261 to 229—without medication.
My triglycerides went from 211 to 151—again, without medication.
My weight went from 208 to 198—a bonus, since I wasn't trying to lose weight.
My strength and endurance has improved dramatically, as noted during my walking program and weight lifting program.
This was fun, and I proved to myself that I could do it. With the help of Healing America, I was once again able to take charge of my health and my life.

THE "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" EXPERIENCE
by Julie Jordan Scott
I had convinced myself the other night that thirteen
month old Sam was, indeed, brilliant.
On our evening walk, we had encountered a singing
bird as we ambled along one of my favorite neighborhood streets. Sam looked towards it and bellowed "Baaaaaaaaaaa," as he waved
delightedly.
"Bird!" I toned. "Saying bye bye to the birdie?"
Sam once again let out a loud, guttural "Baaaaaaaaaa" with the gusto known especially to thirteen month old little boys. It reminds me of some sort of male bonding for the pre-walking set. Definitely not the same sounds my dainty little girls used to make.
I was so smug after that. "Sam communes with "birds" and talks about it! Of course, my son is exceptional! Why, it's natural! He comes from extraordinary genes!" I continued to chatter merrily with Sam and myself as we made our way home.
In between my gloating, I was able to tap into reverence for the world as it unfolded in front of us. In fact, given
Sam's newly discovered awe of birds, my experience of awe was heightened further.
The next day, Katherine, Emma, Sam, and I were eating breakfast, and there was some especially fun music playing
on the radio. Sam, in his high chair, began to dance along with the music.
"Baaaaaaaaa," he sang as he danced. "Baaaaaaaaaaa." I danced along, even as I was confused. "Baaaaaaaaaaaaa?" I wondered? I had thought that meant "bird," and now Sam is dancing to music
without a "bird" in hearing or seeing distance. He was certainly giddy with delight. Especially surrounded by three of his favorite women in the world, all bouncing along with him
doing our own early morning "Baaaaaaaaaaaaa" dance.
Yesterday, Sam was crawling around the room as I worked, inspecting the toys which were scattered on the floor. He picked up his favorite truck and pushed it along the ground. It made happy noises, popcorn like, as it was pushed from destination
to destination. "Baaaaaaaaaaa," sang Sam. He was certainly enjoying the truck play. And he certainly did not mean to be calling the truck a bird. "Baaaaaaaaaaa" he toned again,
looking toward me with expectation brimming from his big blue eyes.
I agreed with him, smiling as I said, "Baaaaaaaaaaa, Sam. Baaaaaaaaaaa," as I discovered that Sam truly is brilliant.
And it's not purely because he communes with birds.
It is because he communes with birds, dances with his entire body as he eats his everyday breakfast, and he relishes
each sound of his popcorn truck.
And because, as he does all of these things, he punctuates each with a resounding "Baaaaaaaaaaa" just as four
year old Emma would say, "Yahoooooooooooo"
or ten year old Katherine would say, "Wow!"
when they experienced something
particularly wonderful.
What I noticed as their mother was that miraculous experiences seem to become more rare as children add time to their lives.
And as an adult, I see the key is to put the "Baaaaaaaaaaa" experience back into all that we do. For it is in those "Baaaaaaaaaaa" experiences that we will once again see the awe and reverence in all of our lives.
Now that is brilliant!

A BIBLE RIDDLE
Can you find the ONLY TWO places in the Word of God (outside the book of Exodus) that describes Moses as a baby?
ANSWER: ACTS 7:20: "In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair," AND Hebrews 11:23 "By faith Moses,
when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child."

Healthy
"You're in incredible shape," the doctor said. "How old are
you again?"
"I am 78," the man said.
"78?" asked the doctor. "How do you stay so healthy? You
look like a 60-year-old."
"Well, my wife and I made a pact when we got married that
whenever she got mad she would go into the kitchen and cool
off, and I would go outside to settle down," the man explained.
"What does that have to do with it?" asked the doctor.
"I've pretty much lived an outdoor life."

ATTITUDE CHECK
by Dave Balch, "The Stay-at-Home CEO"™
Attitude is like the foundation of a building: it doesn't
matter how well the building is designed, built, or
maintained; it will fail if the foundation isn't sound.
When you run your own business (or, for that matter, when
you live your life) there will be ups and downs, successes
and failures. Your attitude will determine how you handle
them, and how you handle them will determine your success.
Basically, attitude is about choices and expectations.
First, let's talk about choices. Everything you do or say
is a choice. There is always a choice. Paying taxes, for
example, is a choice: you could choose to go to jail
instead of coughing up the dough. Why you would do that is
beyond me, but it is still a choice.
Attitudes affect more than your choices, though; they affect
your expectations. I am a firm believer in the old axiom
"Things tend to happen the way you expect them to happen".
If your attitude affects your expectations, and your
expectations affect the way things happen, then your
attitude affects the way things happen. Either consciously
or subconsciously we do things that tend to sway the outcome
of any given situation to match our expectations.
For example, if you are making a sales call and you are sure
that there won't be a sale, you probably won't give a very
convincing argument to buy, will you?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this: attitude
is the single most important element of success in your
business and your life.
At one point I needed to hire a salesman (selling software
to large corporations). I had been through several
different guys and none of them really had what I needed.
Enter Andy.
Andy is my first wife's brother. (It helped that I'm still
on good terms with my first wife, and that my current wife
is too!) There were two things wrong with having Andy as my
salesman: 1) he had no computer background or experience
(he couldn't even spell "PC"!) and 2), he lived in Phoenix,
about 400 miles away. Talk about a round peg in a square
hole! But. he had a great attitude; that
"Whatever-it-takes-I-can-do-it-the-customer-is-always-right
-and-I'll-always-treat-them-well" attitude that you just
can't easily teach somebody. I figured that I could teach
him about computers and my software and that the attitude
would be part of the package.
I was right. He had to learn about sales, about mainframe
computers and how programming organizations worked, he had
to learn how to use a PC and how to use the software that
ran on it. He learned it all and did well. how? ATTITUDE.
He was one of those people that you just can't help but
like, and even if someone wasn't interested in our product
they were always happy to hear from him. These are skills
that are much harder to teach than computer and selling
skills, so I was happy to invest in him.
It's time for an attitude check: yours and your employees.'
Is it pushing you forward or holding you back? Think about
it; it could mean the difference between success and
failure.
A young woman went to her mother and told her about
her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not
know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as soon as one
problem was solved a new one arose.
Her mother took her to the kitchen.
She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high
fire. Soon the pots came to a boil. In the first, she placed
carrots, in the second she placed eggs and the last she
placed ground coffee beans.
She let them sit and boil, without saying a word. In about
twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the
carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs
out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee
out and placed it in a bowl.
Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what do you
see?" "Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.
She brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots.
She did and noted that they were soft. She then asked her
to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she
observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, she asked her to sip
the coffee. The daughter smiled, as she tasted its rich aroma.
The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"
Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced
the same adversity—boiling water—but each reacted differently.
The carrot went in strong, hard and unrelenting. However,
after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and
became weak.
The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected
its liquid interior. But, after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened!
The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they
were in the boiling water they had changed the water.
"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity
knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot,
an egg, or a coffee bean?"
Think of this:
Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain
and adversity, do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?
Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes
with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after death, a
breakup, a financial hardship, does my shell look the same,
but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and
a hardened heart?
Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the
hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When
the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you
are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better
and change the situation around you.
When the hours are the darkest and trials are their greatest,
do you elevate to another level? How do you handle adversity?
