The publisher’s philosophy is that most learn faster by taking small bites, rather than large gulps. Small bites are chewed more thoroughly, swallowed, and digested more readily. Keeping that in mind, many features will be solo items. That way, you will not be bombarded or overwhelmed.

A friend from Texas sent in the poem that I've put in place of the usual feature article this week to commemorate what we in the US will never forget. Nothing I say here could add to it.
If you enjoy this ezine, you can help it grow faster by introducing 'elf Expressions to just one other person—because the faster we grow, the more everyone benefits from the ads. Thank you!

In talking to my friend, Eric, he thought I should tell you about my success with the Block and Burn products. To date, I have lost 22 pounds and nearly 3 inches from my waist. This is only after five weeks of use.
Now, in addition to taking these products, I have changed my eating habits and picked up on my exercising, which I have done for periods of time in the past, but never with this kind of results. I also take Multi Plex-II and MegaZyme+. I feel better than I have in years. People are asking me daily what I'm doing to lose weight and feel so much better. These changes are helping to improve nearly every aspect of my life with a renewed confidence and higher energy level.

My name is am Nucha (Wayurakul) Aquino. I was born in
Thailand. In 1998, I married to my Filipino fiancè and moved
to the Philippines.
I love to travel, learn the cultures, and get to know people
from different places.
I used to work for an airline only for the free ticket, and moved to Germany just to travel Europe. While I was studying in
Germany, I chose International Business for Masteral only
because of the term "International."
Now I am teaching business and international aspects related
to business in a local graduate school (MBA) in Laguna, the
Philippines (part-time).
Full-time, I am a mother who works the Internet business
when the baby sleeps.
I publish two ezines—eLaguna's eBiz Weekly Tips
, and Small-World Ezine. In eLaguna's ezine I feature international matters (culture, beliefs), which might affect a business's sales. In the Small-World Ezine, we talk non-business issues, i.e., cultures, travel tips, food and recipes, current news, and really, everything under the sun. Subscribers also write to tell what it's like in their parts of the world, and they also ask questions.
I was very busy with these two ezines until last month, when
I finally automated most of the routine jobs. And that's
why I have time to write to you today, after having
subscribed for more than a year.
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself.

FEATURE ARTICLE
POWERFUL POEM
It was late one Tuesday evening
Before a mother could sit down
To tell her only child about
The terror that hit downtown.
She looked into the eyes of her son . .
God, she loved him so.
She felt her heart begin to break
And the hurt begin to show.
She gathered all her strength and courage,
as her story she began to tell.
"Baby, don't cry, but I'm afraid daddy
Might be under a building that fell."
The boy looked back at his mother.
His eyes made not one blink.
And the mother's tears began to fall.
What would her baby think?
You see, his dad is a firefighter,
And his hero from the day of his birth.
He loved his dad more than anything else
That could ever inherit this earth.
The mother's head began to drop,
Her forehead resting on palm.
She thought her son would be upset.
Instead, he was very calm.
The boy leaned over toward his mom
And put his hand upon her head.
In her ear he began to whisper,
And this is what he said:
"Mommy, please don't cry.
I knew daddy wasn't coming home.
I talked to him just a while ago,
But it wasn't on the phone.
He told me that he loved me,
And he promised we'd meet again.
He told of his new home
And the job he was to begin."
"God is building an army.
And there are many angels needed.
That is where daddy adn the others went.
They weren't all defeated."
It was then the mother lifted her hear.
The tears streamed down her face,
Adn she could feel her husband's presence,
As it filled her heart with grace.
It was then she knew her son was right.
He was in God's great army now.
She also knew her son was safe,
That he'd be kept from harm somehow.
So, evildoers of the world, beware.
An army is on the way,
Bolstered by new angels,
Who left the towers that day.
Their Commander has never been beaten,
His power has never been matched.
And if evil thinks He was almighty before . . .
Well, the surface has just been scratched!
God bless America!
A BIBLE RIDDLE
How many men were in the group that Moses brought out of Egypt?
ANSWER: 600,000 as found in Exodus 12:37 "And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children."
True wisdom is less presuming than folly. The wise man
doubts often, and changes his mind; the fool is obstinate,
and doubts not; he knows all things but his own ignorance.

TODAY'S CHUCKLE
CHARGED OR MIS-CHARGED?
I recently saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her car. "Do you need some help?" I asked. She replied, "I knew I should have replaced the battery to this remote door unlocker. Now I can't get into my car. Do you think they (pointing to a distant convenient store) would have a battery to fit this?"
"Hmmm, I dunno. Do you have an alarm too?" I asked. "No, just this remote thingy," she answered, handing it and the car keys to me.
As I took the key and manually unlocked the door, I replied, "Why don't you drive over there and check about the batteries—it's a long walk."
He turns not back who is bound to a star.

TODAY'S ENGLISH LESSON
Seeing the same elementary mistakes over and over again has prompted this publisher to write an English lesson each issue.
When to use who/whom.
"Who" is a pronoun with a subjective case (meaning it's used as the subject of a sentence).
"Whom" is a pronoun with an objective case (meaning it's used as the object of a sentence).
We say "Who is the speaker of the day?" because "who" in this case refers to the subject of the sentence. But we say, "To whom am I speaking?" because, here, the pronoun is an object of the preposition "to." (Just turn the sentence around and repeat it to yourself, "I am speaking to whom," and you can see it better.
Here's what I mean: substitute "him" for "whom." Then you have "I am speaking to him." You know then that "whom" is correct, because you wouldn't say "I am speaking to he."
I hope this makes sense (it does to me—should I be worried?). :-)

DEE'S HELPFUL INFO—THE INFORMATIVE NON-SCAM AND SPAM EZINE!
Featuring Donna Sweat, weekly columnist, and publisher of
Dee's Helpful Info. and A Real Home Business Newsletter.
Since the start of my online business I have come across
tons of affiliate programs, articles, and a zillion ads
daily. This is in addition to normal email and spam, not to
mention viruses galore and new friends and associates.
I realize a newbie to the Internet can be completely
confused and lost in the array of words, websites and
offers. They are under fire from everyone from all sides!
As time progresses, we learn about banners, tartpages, website design, pyramid programs, popups and scams.
I could go on all day with new and mysterious gimmicks
thrown at the poor newbie. It's no wonder many quit and give
up before they even get started.
I am no exception to the rule . . . yep, even I have had days
that I thought this was too much. Waking up and enjoying
nature at its best, with a cup of hot coffee was fine.
And getting to the laundry or vacuuming was an easy,
enjoyable chore as compared to logging on and getting lost
in all the clutter!
Words, words, and more words!! Most of which were a crock
of . . . well, you get the point! I can't even imagine the number of "This looks good" links I've clicked on and scanned down the page, only to find a "Pay Here" link.
And let's not forget the freebies I joined, only to find I needed a separate email just to handle junk mail or a folder for the tons of rules, regulations, tips, and information, just to
work the program to make me money. Goodness me! And then there were the ones that linked to even more affiliate programs!
There is Spam and Scam everywhere on the Internet!!
Kind of like the real world, full of scammers and spammers.
The point to all this rambling on and on is to inform
newbies and even the well bred business person to carefully
watch your backside, frontside, sideside(?)—well, all ways,
for nasty, greedy, hungry, spammers and scammers looking to
drain your wallet or purse of all your hard earned money.
Don't misunderstand me—not all of the affiliate programs
out there are bad—just learn to watch your step, read
between the lines, and use the common sense you have been
given.
As publisher/editor and small business entrepreneur, I have
met many, very nice people, and these people are my close
friends as well. They have been there to help me, confide in
me, and if I could help them, I would.
I have long time subscribers that always fed me their
comments, and I took them and used them to help their fellow
subscribers. By the way, I hate the term "subscribers"! I like to call them my friends, because I earned every one, not spamming
them with junk!
I give them my all when publishing Dee's Helpful Info.
It is their ezine, not mine. It is published to help them in
their efforts to succeed online. If you would like a copy, you may email me at: donna@sosbbs.com?subject=CopyDeesInfo.

7 PROFITABLE WAYS TO USE AUTORESPONDERS
by Angela Wu
A visitor clicks on the link to your site and starts
reading. She's intrigued and nearly ready to buy—but
at that very moment, the kids come back inside and she
leaves the computer to tend to them, meaning to go back
later to make a purchase.
Chances are, you just lost a sale. There are countless
reasons why an interested prospect may not buy right away.
Even if they intend to re-visit your site later, "later"
may never come—they might not even remember your URL!
By capturing your visitor's email address, you can follow-up
with them and increase the likelihood of catching them at a
time that they're ready to buy. Here are a profitable ways
you can use autoresponders to help convert more of your
visitors into paying customers:
__1. Distribute a Newsletter.
Most good autoresponders have two important features that
are perfect for distributing newsletters: a personalisation
feature, and a broadcast feature. Wouldn't you be more
likely to read something that's directly addressed to you?
__2. Automate Your Sales Process.
Repeated exposure to the same message has been shown to
increase sales. In an short ezine ad, for example, where
you only have a limited amount of space, why not publish
your autoresponder address instead of a website URL? With
short ads like these, your objective is to generate leads,
not make a sale. By directing readers to your autoresponder,
you have multiple opportunities to convert your leads into
sales.
__3. Use Them to Distribute Your Articles.
Writing articles and making them freely available for
reprint is an excellent way to build credibility, drive
more traffic to your site, and increase sales. In return
for providing content-rich articles, editors will print
your "resource box": a short description of you and your
product or service. Within your resource box, you can
direct readers to write to your autoresponder for a free
email course, free story, or whatever is appropriate for
your line of business.
__4. Send Advertising Information.
If you sell advertising on your website or in your
newsletter, you can set up an autoresponder to send this
information automatically to a prospect's email box. This
does a few things: first, it's convenient for your visitor.
Second, she'll have it available whenever she wants to
refer to it (instead of trying to remember your URL). And
finally, you can set up your autoresponder to follow-up
with her. Plus by capturing her email address, you can
send her notifications of any special advertising deals
you have available.
__5. Distribute Free Reports.
Free reports give your visitors a taste of the type and
quality of information you can provide. People who like
your report will be more inclined to purchase something
from you in the future.
Do NOT make your free report a disguised sales pitch
for your product or service. People will easily see
through this and you'll have lost a potential customer
by not providing what was promised!
__6. Distribute an Email Course.
Why not offer a mini-course by email? Every day or two,
send another chapter of your course. Once again, the
key is to provide content—not a sales "pitch"! Let
your content help you do the selling. At the end of
each message, include a paragraph or two tying it into
your product, and invite your prospect to make a
purchase.
__7. Offer a Trial Version of Your Product.
If you're selling an eBook, software, course, or website
membership, you might offer trial versions to interested
prospects. Many people prefer to "get a taste" of what
they're buying before they pay for the full version. In
this case, you can capture their email addresses by
offering them a free trial from your site. Your
autoresponder provides them with instructions on how and
where to get their free trial . . . and then follows up with
them at appropriate intervals to try to persuade them to
purchase the full deal.

I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start.
While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.
On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked
toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands.
When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation. His tanned face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.
Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my
curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.
Oh, that's my trouble tree," he replied. "I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children. So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them.
Then in the morning I pick them up again. Funny thing is," he
smiled, "when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before. . ."
