A Visitor from the Past
I had a dream the other night, I didn't understand.
A figure walking through the mist, with a flintlock in his hand ...
His clothes were torn and dirty, as he stood there by my bed.
He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking softly, he said.
We fought a revolution to secure our liberty.
We wrote the constitution as a shield from tyranny.
For future generations, this legacy we gave.
Is this the land of the free and the home of the brave?
The freedom we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep,
But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep.
Your freedom gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave.
Is this the land of the free and the home of the brave?
You buy permits to travel, and permits to own a gun,
Permits to start a business and permits to build a place for one.
On land you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent.
Although you have no voice in choosing how the money's spent.
Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate,
Your religious values can't be taught, according to the state.
You read about current news, in a regulated press.
You pay a tax you do not owe, to please the IRS.
Your money is no longer backed with silver or gold.
You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled.
You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God in shame.
You've taken satan's number as you've traded in your name.
You've given government control to those who do you harm,
So they can padlock churches and steal the family farm,
And keep our country deep in debt, put men of God in jail,
Harass your fellow countrymen, while corrupted courts prevail.
Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oath they've sworn.
Your daughters visit doctors, so their children won't be born.
Your leaders ship artillery and guns to foreign shores
And send your sons to slaughter, fighting other people's wars.
Can you regain the freedom for which we fought and died?
Or don't you have the courage, or the faith to stand with pride?
Are there no more values for which you'll fight to save
Or do you wish your chidlren to live in fear and be a slave?
People of the republic, arise and take a stand.
Defend the constitution, the supreme law of the land.
Preserve our great republic and our God given right
And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright.
As I awoke he vanished in the mist, from whence he came.
His words were true, and we, ourselves are to blame.
For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right
We only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight.
If he stood by your bedside in a dream, while you're asleep
And wonder what remains of our rights he fought to keep,
What would be your answer, if he called out from the grave,
Is this the land of the free, and the home of the brave?

ABNORMAL CELLS RESPOND
The following is a testimonial from an individual stating what results HE has experienced. No medical claims are implied, and we are not saying that the products discussed will cure the problems you have. In June of 2000, I went to the doctor for my annual exam. The results of my pap test came back positive, which meant I had abnormal cells on my cervix. I was diagnosed with mild to moderate Displaysia (a pre-cancerous cell growth on the cervix). I have found since then that it is very common among women.
In August I had a Colposcopy, which is a biopsy of the cervix. The results went one step further, and I was diagnosed with severe Displaysia, which is the last stage before cancer.
In September, I had a cone biopsy. This is a surgical procedure to remove the pre-cancer cells. The results showed that all the Displaysia had not been removed. The results also showed that my pre-cancer cells now had a new name. I was diagnosed with Adinocarcinoma in situ. My doctor told me that Adinocarcinoma in situ is rare, and that she has had only one other case of it in ten years. What I really didn't want to hear was what my doctor told me next. She said that if l was older and had had children already that they would just give me a hysterectomy. Unlike Displaysia, Adinocarcinoma in situ does not have stages and could change to cancer at anytime without any warning signs. I was sent to have a consultation with an oncologist (cancer specialist).
She had few statistics for me, since what I had was so rare. All she could tell me was that I could keep having surgery until there was nothing left of my cervix. Then came my angel, Michelle Decker. She told me about Jon Barron and gave me the book, Lessons From the Miracle Doctors. I read the book in two sittings.
In mid-November I started the Baseline of Health, did a full body cleanse, and followed a strict diet of raw vegetables, fruit, oatmeal, and vegetable pasta. The day after Christmas I had another pap test. The results showed what my doctor called worrisome cells. They thought that I still had Adinocarcinoma in situ.
I then had another cone biopsy. Finally, I had some good news. My biopsy results showed that I had inflamed cells and that all my pre-cancerous cells were gone!
At my follow up appointment from my last cone biopsy, my doctor told me that my case was the most perplexing case that she had had in a long time. I feel very fortunate to have Michelle Decker as a friend. We couldn’t see each other for weeks without crying. And just when I thought my story couldn’t get any better, it did. I just again received a clean bill of health following my six month recheck. The Baseline of Health works miracles. Thank you, Jon and Kristen Barron and everyone at Healing America. I thank God for bringing these people into my life.

TODAY'S ENGLISH LESSON
Seeing the same elementary mistakes over and over again has prompted this publisher to write an English lesson each issue.
This one concerns "leach" vs. "leech," and we'll deal with only the more common usages here.
"Leach" refers to a substance which is percolated through another in the process of "leaching."
"Leech," as a noun, refers to a parasite, or someone who preys on another. As a verb, it also can mean to bleed someone using leeches to do so (an old fashioned remedy).

What's in a Listing? Do a Search of your Site or Ezine. ©2001

Recently while doing a search for content to put in my
ezine, I thought I might see just how many listings I had for my ezine, "Dee's Helpful Info." I typed my ezine name into the search bar and hit ENTER. I was amazed with the results. There were several hundred listings, many of which I had forgotten about. I began with the top listing, working my way though the huge list. Right away I ran into problems.
1) I did not have IDs and passwords for some of the listing updates. As a new entrepreneur months ago, I used Netscape 4.7, which had no ability to keep these important pieces of information. I recommend using Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, along with a great
little companion, Gator! Both remember these tidbits of information for you. Gator will accept more than one user, and my children wouldn't be without him. You can download the most recent version at
http://www.gator.com.
2) Once I viewed my listing, I was shocked at the information listed. This really is old content, I thought. The summary: Update often! At least monthly, and keep a list of the sites you submit a listing to. I had not only increased subscribers by hundreds, but I'd also designed a new website, and these listings sent everyone to a "non-existent" site! And to top this all off, my subscription address had also changed. I started out using Aureate Group Mail, progressed to Listbot, got all settled in, and Listbot folded ... so I moved on to Topica. The moral of this tip: If you make any important changes, UPDATE!
3) Moving down the list ... now we have a new problem, we can't update this listing, because there is no contact e-mail or login box. Be careful of sites like this one.
4) Now we are finding listings not related to my newsletter at all. Why? The keywords are Dee's, Helpful, Info., and Newsletter. One or all of these describe many other listings not related to my newsletter. Maybe I should change our newsletter name?
Now lets change to another search engine. I have tried several, but let's face it, Yahoo is the best. Now you ask ... what's the point to this article?
The point is ... you're losing business if your listing is not correct! A wrong e-mail address, or website URL can take business away from your site. Always stay a step ahead ... UPDATE YOUR LISTINGS OFTEN!

Your objective in your MLM business is to KNOW Your Business, to become an expert at it, a pro guide to your prospects. This is the most important thing you can do for yourself and your business BEFORE you start marketing.
Before you begin to seek prospects for any venture you NEED to first KNOW your product and/or service. This is absolutely critical if you expect to be successful. Your goal is to become a pro tour guide to your prospects, a leader of integrity to your downline. Your success will largely depend on it!
Exactly what should you know?
* First, you should carefully read every web page on your website. NO SHORT CUTS HERE! Why? Because knowing your business in and out will make you an expert of all that it offers. This allows you to confidently and accurately respond to your prospects' and downline's most commonly asked questions.
* If your opportunity offers a members area, then by all means read everything inside that area. Know it! The members area is an important part of your website and just as important as the content on your home page. In many cases it can offer some key information for your success, which in itself can become a selling point for your opportunity.
* It is YOUR responsibility to help your downline to build, and if you don't know answers to commonly asked questions you not only lose credibility, but it makes you look foolish and inept. MLM and affiliate programs are people business, and people are genuinely looking for leaders of integrity. Why would potential prospects want to sign up under you, if you don't know
the answers to their questions?
So take the time needed and read through every page on your website, including the members area, where applicable. Plug in to your upline and ask, ask, and ask again. You can never ask too many questions. Uplines are there to help.
Okay ... it has taken some time and been a bit of work, but you should be a PRO on your opportunity. You should be able to answer 99% of all questions asked by any prospects interested in signing up under you, and be ready to give your new downline all the support they may need. Is that where you are? Can you give
a professionally guided tour and presentation of your
opportunity? If not ... go back to basics ... it will prove to be most profitable.

A weary traveller sat down to rest in the shade of a tree, not knowing that the tree he chose was magic: "The Wish-Granting Tree."
Seated on the hard ground, he thought how pleasant it would be find himself in a soft bed. Instantly, a bed appeared before him. Astonished, the man climbed onto the bed, thinking that the height of happiness would be to find a young beautiful girl by his side, massaging his sore legs. Instantly, a young girl
appeared and began massaging him.
"I'm so hungry," the man said to himself. "Having something to eat now would be a great pleasure." Instantly, a table appeared laden with a delicious feast.
The man rejoiced and began eating and drinking to his heart's content. His head spun a little, and his eyelids grew heavy as the wine took effect. He stretched out on the bed, thinking about the wonderful events that had taken place on that extraordinary
day.
"I'll sleep for an hour or two," he thought. "The worst that could happen would be if a tiger wandered by while I'm asleep." Instantly, a tiger appeared and devoured the poor man.
You have a magic tree inside you, waiting to grant your wishes. But be careful! The same tree can also make your negative thoughts and fears come true. At the very least, it will be influenced by your negative thoughts, so that the good things you wish for do
not happen.
That's what worrying can do.
