Success is on Your Horizon
If you want to be successful, you can start at any time. But you have to make a start. Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.
You won't accomplish anything if you wait for all the possible objections to be overcome. Don't be afraid to live. Don't wait for things to change.
Don't wait until you have more time, until you are less tired, until you get the promotion, until you settle down, until, until, untl. Don't wait for a major event in your life to occur before you begin to live.
Begin where you are. Work where you are. The hour you are wasting now, dreaming of some far off success, is crowded with tremendous possibilities.
When you take the first step, your mind will mobilize all its forces to assist you.
Once you have started, all that is within and without you will come to your assistance.
The only way to start on the road to sucess is to start.

CHANCE FOR A NORMAL LIFE
My name is Richard House, I’m 38 years old and live in Robinson, Illinois. I work in construction with George Meese, who introduced me to the AGE-less product.
I have had this nervous condition all of my life and believe that my condition was inherited from my dad.
When I was ten years old, I was tested in the Iowa City University Hospital for Parkinson’s disease or a nervous disorder. The doctors gave me so much medicine that I couldn’t function and felt like a guinea pig. Even then the doctors really didn’t know what I had. Nine years ago, I went to a neurologist in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and that doctor said that the nervous disorder would just get progressively worse.
In the past six months, I have been on Ritalin, Buspar and Celexa, and it made me feel tired, groggy, and I wanted to sleep all the time and was just plain out of it.
The first day that I started taking the AGE-less product, I took more than what George told me to. I took three pills on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. and three pills at bedtime, and three pills the next morning. I felt myself beginning to feel calmer inside and out, my shaking had subsided somewhat, better than I had ever felt!
It has been about eight weeks since I have started the AGE-less product. I take only three pills in the morning and can say that my shaking has lessened about 80%. I feel more at peace with my surroundings and can deal with situations better. As the evening hours come, I do shake somewhat but nothing like I did.
I want to thank George for being a friend and trying to help me out. Thank you, Healing America, for giving me a chance for a normal life.

You Must Work As Hard At Home As You Did With Your Day Job? ©2001 by Vern Anderson
We keep reading online ads that say: enroll now and we will do all
the work for you.
Also we read the great thing about having your own home business
is that you can work only the hours you want. Or when you have your
own home business you can make money in your pajamas.
We also read: you can make money with our program even while
you vacation in the Bahamas. We see websites that the first thing
you see is a man and a woman on a pretty sandy beach.
The next picture shows a half million dollar home with $50,000
automobiles in the driveway. All this to put the picture of easy money and success in your mind.
We would all like to be wealthy or at least have enough money that
we had no worries about our credit card payment or other bills.
There are no get rich quick ways on the Internet any more than there are in the brick and mortar world. There are no programs that you enroll with, and then they do all of the work and you just rake in
the money.
The statistics say that 95% of all online businesses will fail. If you believe these fairy tales, you are going to be in that 95%, and you will also be very broke.
Now that I am retired, I think back to my work days where I was working on a salary. The company I was with just kept piling on more and more things I had to get done.
One day I complained to my supervisor that I was already working 10
hours a day and could not get all my required tasks done. The answer
I got was, if you can't get everything you are required to do done in
10 hours, then start working 12, and if that is not enough hours, then work 14 hours.
At that time I was very upset with his answer because, being on salary, I got the same pay for 14 hours a day as I did for 8 hours, and he knew it.
I felt I had to do it, because a good job was very hard to get, if not impossible. He knew that also.
As I am now starting my seventh year online, I think about things like that, and then I think to myself, now I put that many hours and sometimes more online with five websites and working this newsletter.
What I am trying to tell you here is, there is money to be made online, but you must work, work, work, because you do not want to be counted in the 95% who will just give up.
If you are going to try your hand with your own work-at-home business, then be determined to succeed. You will have your ups and downs, but keep the proper attitude, and you will succeed.
Wishing you complete success!

A BIBLE RIDDLE
What three cities did King David rule from?
ANSWER: David reigned from only two cities: Hebron and Jerusalem. (1st Kings 2:11: "And the days that David reigned over Israel were forty years: seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.")

TODAY'S CHUCKLE
MAYORAL MULE
A preacher went to his church office on Monday morning and
discovered a dead mule (jackass to the knowing) in the
church yard. He called the police. Since there did not appear
to be any foul play, the police referred the preacher to the
health department.
They said since there was no health threat that he should call
the sanitation department. The sanitation manager said he
could not pick up the mule without authorization from the
mayor.
Now, the preacher knew the mayor, and was not to eager to
call him. The mayor had a bad temper and was generally hard
to deal with, but the preacher called him anyway.
The mayor did not disappoint. He immediately began to rant
and rave at the pastor and finally said, "Why did you call me
anyway? Isn't it your job to bury the dead?"
The preacher paused for a brief prayer and asked the Lord to
direct his response. He was led to say, "Yes, mayor, it is my
job to bury the dead, but I always like to notify the next of kin
first!"
Just for today, I will live through this day only,
and not set far-reaching goals to try to overcome
all my problems at once. I know I can do something for twelve hours that would appall me if I felt I had to keep it up for a lifetime.
|
Just for today I will be happy. Abraham Lincoln said, "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." He was right. I will not dwell on thoughts that depress me. I will chase them out of my mind and replace them with happy thoughts.

INTERNET HINTS & TIPS
"3 Good Ways to Refresh and Redirect Your Web Pages"
Do you ever wonder how you can refresh your page so that
others, with browsers which do not readily load the new
contents of your site, can see updates immediately?
This is extremely useful if you update your web page
regularly. If you don't, put this refresh code, or your repeat
visitors may still see the old page, because they will
be viewing your page from their computer cache.
Or do you wish to automatically redirect a page, whether
it be your favorite link or main page? Now you can by just
following this very short and simple tutorial.
http://www.resource-a-day.net/resources/redirect.html

Is Your Business Running YOU?
©2002, Sharon Davis
I lost a client recently. When I asked why he was making a change he said to me, "Your site used to be in the top three results of all the search engines and now it's not."
Alarmed, I immediately investigated. He was right.
It was then that I realized that I had dropped the ball. I
hadn't even looked at my search engine results for a couple of
months. I hadn't been marketing my business.
How had this happened? As I reflected on what I'd been spending
my time on, I realized that recently more and more of my time
was being spend on adminstrative tasks. And I'd been spending
very little time doing the things I love most about my business;
writing, researching and marketing. Not good.
Over the past year, I've been working harder and longer. And
I'd been marketing less and less. Not to mention the fact that
the precious time that I have with my kids was being chipped
away by my "projects."
My business was running ME.
I was also still locked into the mindset that I *couldn't
afford* software and services that could really help me to run
my business more efficiently.
Here's a good example: I spend a great deal of time answering emails from site visitors, most of them the same types of questions. Now, I really like to answer my emails personally, but there comes a
time when you have to decide whether or not this is really the
best use of your time.
I bit the bullet and purchased two programs: a program to set
up and administer a Frequently Asked Questions area, and an
autoresponder program to set up an Instant Answers section, which
sends immediate responses to common questions by email.
What a difference! Now, I spend a lot less time answering the
same emails each day, and my site visitors get immediate answers
to their questions. Well worth the expense (which, by the way,
was definitely within reach once I took the time to budget money
for it).
While I don't want to run out and start buying every program out
there that might save me time, I have broken out of the pattern
of saying, "I can't." Now I'm asking, "Can I afford not to?"
The benefits of this approach are many. I find that I have more
time with my family, less stress, and I again have the time to
do what I love the most ... write, research and grow my business.
I'm resolved to keep this from happening again. Here are some
things you can do to avoid straying from your path to success:
-Keep things in perspective
Write down the reasons that you started your business in the
first place and post them somewhere where you can see them and
look at them periodically.
-Prioritize
Ask yourself, "Is this really the best use of my time?"
Recognize when you need help and make changes.
-Evaluate
Continually look at your processes and ask, "Could there be a
better way of doing this?"
-Network
Peers are a great source of advice and support. Chances are, one
of them has been in your situation and will have good advice.
Join discussion lists or peer groups that share similar goals
and challenges. Research your options and make informed
decisions.
By the way, the client that I lost? He came back. When I
contacted him to let him know what I'd been doing to improve my
search engine results, he was so impressed with my
responsiveness that he placed another order with us.
I got lucky with that one, but I've learned a valuable lesson—
I can't let my business run ME.

INSPIRATION
TELL HIM SO
If you hear a kind word spoken
Of some worthy soul you know,
It may fill his heart with sunshine
If you only tell him so.
If a deed, however humble,
Helps you on your way to go,
Seek the one whose hand has helped you,
Seek him out and tell him so!
If your heart is touched and tender
Toward a sinner, lost and low,
It might help him to do better
If you'd only tell him so!
Oh, my sisters, oh, my brothers,
As o'er life's rough path you go,
If God's love has saved and kept you,
Do not fail to tell men so!
